At The Movement Centre, our goal is to empower you to take charge of your wellness journey. Explore diverse avenues to enhance your fitness, strength, mobility, and balance through our specialised prehab and rehab classes. Our team of dedicated instructors are each trained in understanding human anatomy and our classes are focused on applied sports.
Whether you already know us through private Physio | Chiro | OT rehab sessions or are new to our community, everyone is welcome in our classes. We believe in working together in identifying areas that may require attention, whilst exploring possible tools to address findings. Some of our participants leverage the class environment to apply insights gained during private rehab sessions, while others prioritise it as a weekly dose of 'movement medicine.'
Our medical interdisciplinary team is focused on assessment and informed evidence based treatment. Our team focus on regaining individual best function.
Join us in fostering a holistic and sustainable approach to your health and well-being.

Our bodies are designed to move, but sometimes injuries or our lifestyles can hinder how efficiently we do this.
Physiotherapy is a discipline focused on analysing and adjusting movement patterns to help patients influence and facilitate healing. This is a space where you learn to take control of, and be involved in, your own process.

Chiropractors primarily treat neuromuscoloskeletal complaints, from neck and lower back pain, to headaches and pain in the joints of the arms and legs. A detailed patient history and clinical examination are performed on presentation to a chiropractor.
A chiropractic adjustment is a safe and controlled force applied to a joint to restore proper function and mobility. This practice aims to improve your joint range of motion and quality of movement.
In addition to chiropractic adjustments, we may also make use of sports massage, dry needling, stretching and strengthening exercises, sports taping methods and electrotherapy to assist you in your journey of healing.

Addresses hand injuries and / or rehabilitation of the neurologically impaired upper limb.
The use of mouldable thermoplastic or neoprene material in the form of splints can be created to make braces for joint support, immobilisation for pain and tissue healing or to increase range of motion.
Custom Pressure garments can be made to reduce both swelling and scar formation as well as assist in the control of pain.
Rehabilitation or Exercises programs may also be developed to improve range of motion, develop muscle strength, or to help allow a graded return to normal hand use post-surgery / in the case of repetitive-strain injuries. Rehab programs are also valid in managing pain in degenerative conditions, for desensitisation of hypersensitive areas and sensory re-education following nerve injuries.

Athletes typically make use of sports massage, as part of an overall maintenance program or to facilitate faster healing after injury.
Promote relaxation and self care, or accelerate recovery in between work out sessions.
